3. Create awareness for maintenance of unbuilt areas
Prevent proliferation of mosquitoes and reduce the risk of bush fires
The Tamarin and Black river regions are prone to dry spells in the winter months which causes the grass to dry off hence representing high risks of bush fires. A few days ago a bush fire caused the destruction of a swimming pool technical box at one of the Black Rock 1 inhabitants. In the summer months high rainfall increases the risk of proliferation of mosquitoes. The syndic has sent letters to owners of unbuilt land asking them to act upon. Some owners have responded favourably to the call, but there are still a number of plots unattented.
The Syndic has started toapproach all bare land owners to clean their plots.
